Hello,
I enjoied sticking together various pieces of sounds of movement (SS_MoveSfx) to recreate the song "Panzerlied".
There are 3 versions (my favorite is n°3):

I've thought about this myself. Very atmospheric. Even better if it's in "leit motif" format where it plays at the right moment (like when you move a tank unit) instead of a continuous background flow.
Another game I recall that did that was "Great Naval Battles II". It was a Pacific Theater naval game, and every time I changed the navigational course of a task force, this ominous music came on briefly, as if I had just made some dramatic decision that was going to change the course of the battle.

In RSM you hear it only when you move a tank.

Yes, sounds nice!
But the 3 versions are only for fun, not for use in the game, or?

Yes just for fun and to test audacity.
If somebody wants to use it, he can take it.
