Hi Guys,

As a new FOG player I have to admit that I am getting a bit lost in the various threads / forum sections for FOG.

So - in reference to FOG(u) - would it be fair to say that it has 2 main elements:

1. A collection of rule updates / modifications that brings the Engine to a 2x+ status.
2. Once that set / Engine upgrade is complete and released to PC that it would also be portable over to IOS?

And as a current FOG PC owner, the update to the core Engine will be free - although future DLC that works with Engine 2x will require separate purchase?

Would appreciate if anyone could confirm or correct any items that I have misinterpreted.

at this point, i've lost track but as if i remember correctly, it's brand new game, not an update. and they intend to have it in all 3 platforms (pc, mac, mobile). the only purchase for current owner would be new armies books.

I see periodic posts of ongoing build refinements and hints that the end (of the wait) is near ....

I was holding off a bit on trying to dig further into the POA logic and achieving a deeper understanding of other game elements - thinking that they would change very significantly in the next release ....

But maybe it's just time to jump in for my next battle with 1.8.1 and ride the wave .....

None of the basic game mechanics will have changed( ie POA's, combat etc.)
