As the Germans I have captured numerous oil wells, but on the statistics screen they do not show up as being under my control. I am not even sure I am getting any extra oil, which was the point in capturing them. How does the game deal with capturing oil wells and how quickly do you get extra oil, and how much?

You get 50% from any enemy resources. A Oil Field has a factor of 4 though, so a Field with "5" means it generates 20 oil per turn or 10 oil for enemies.

I think I know what JonnyA means: in the stat screen showing ressources controlled I have also noticed that oil fields that I have captured in Russia are not shown as controlled by Germany.
