Polaris Sector at Windows XP?

Has anyone tried Polaris Sector at Windows XP?
I know it's not officially tested/released for XP, but as my PC meets the other requirements, it may work nevertheless.
For me it's enough if other users can generally start it -no real test is needed for me.

I played Polaris Sector at a Atom 570 with 2GB ram and Windows XP. It was slow because the CPU was poor but it can run.

My PC can use 3 GB RAM, has a quit new graphic card...
I'm very optimistic now.

If it is Windows XP and a better CPU than I used. I do not see because you can not play it. About the graphics card, Polaris Sector is not a 3D game, it has not high requeriments.

My PC has XP, 3.5gb ram and an i5 processor. Game works fine on it.
As others have said, the game isn't very heavy on requirements
