Hello, if I have a mixed BG (2 rank of spear + 1 rank of LF archers) that has already lost a couple of spear stands and is DISR how can I decide how many dice have the best poa?

Think about something like this

My BG has 8 dice (1 for each front rank stand + 1 for each supporting stand in second rank), then I lose 2 dice for being DISR, then I realize that poas are different because my s with a second rank of s has 0 poa against enemy spear e in two ranks but my s with a second rank of a get a - poa against e in two ranks, so which kind of dice I've lost for being DISR?

Is there some ruling about this situation or it's my choice to say that I've lost 2 of the dice with - poa?

Note that the LF in the second rank lose dice for being LF against other troops.

Normally your group gets 1 dice per HF spear and (1 per LF losing 1 per 2) = 7 dice.
4 at even POA, 3 at -.

The BG loses 1 per 3 i.e. 2 dice lost.

You have to allocate lost dice in proportion to the numbers of bases at each POA if possible.

As you have 4 bases fighting at each POA you must lose 1 dice from each group of 4 bases.

So you get 3 dice a even, 2 at -.

The way I explain this and also work it out is to get the full number of dice and lay them out with different colours for each POA. In this case you have 4 dice with 0 and 4 dice with -. Then you remove your 1 dice per N and put the remaining dice to one side so in this case you remove 1 dice from the 4 on 0 and 1 dice from the 4 on - leaving 2 dice (1 on 0 and 1 on -), as you don't lose anything from 2 dice you keep them so you have 3 dice at 0 and 3 at -.

Had you started with 4 at 0 and 2 at - you would lose 1 of the 4 at 0 leaving 1 at 0 and 2 at -, as this is 3 dice you must still lose a dice and because there are 2 dice at - you must lose one of them leaving you with 3 at 0 and 1 at -.
