Description
Mod for Panzer Corps based on modern times. You will command the mighty armed forces of NATO, USA, Russia, China and many other nations across different conflicts around the World.... fictional and historical ones.

Installation and requirements

OPTIONAL SUBMODS
Thanks to the collaboration from other great modders from the community, Modern Conflicts comes with optional submods to improve the gameplay experience.
Several options allow you to customize the game at your convenience.

Immersion: Camos (by Wurschtmaxe)
MdC "vanilla" skins replaced by real life based camos.

Flags on the unit icons are replaced by real life armed forces branch insignias.

Combination of both Camos and Insignias submods. For all those hardcore fans of realism and immersion.

* Argentinian AI added.
* British AI improved.
* The scenario now supports fully singleplayer mode.
* Argentinian prestige per turn reduced.
* Victory condition added (instant for Argentina): Destroy HMS Fearless and HMS Intrepid.
* Event UK side added: Destroy ARA 25 de Mayo and ALL KC-130H tankers will reduce Argentine prestige down to 40 per turn.

Hi panzerpimp. So far, I didnt start with infantry icons, I have a lot of vehicles to finish first :(.
But rest assured that I will post them as soon as I have some icons done.

Nope, modern war. Maybe some old equipment will be available, but the mod will focus on modern times :P

I wonder how you're going to include the "new" unit types in your mod, such as IFVs, APCs and attack helicopters.

I guess IFVs and APCs could be normal land transports like the SdKfz.251, but obviously with much better stats so that they can fight on their own and take more punishment.

Attack and transport heli could be multipurpose units which can "land" anywhere - change to a ground unit and back.

I have some ideas in my mind but I didnt decide anything yet. So far, my idea is to include some modern conflicts and some "fantasy" events as well, in the form of campaigns, scenarios, etc.

Exactly, that is exactly my idea regarding the personnel carriers, for fighting vehicles I will use the recon class (modified of course).

Speaking of fighting vehicles, here some Polish ones: the KTO Rosomak and a PT-91 tank (dont worry about the unit stats, I am not on it yet):

I think the "fantasy" conflict between NATO and Russia is "a must" that I will include in this project :P

I have the T-14 on my mind, dont worry. Although is difficult to find material related to modern equipment; I was surprised how difficult it is to get material to build quality icons.... it seems WW2 was way more popular in the modelling world.

Dont pay too much attention to the units color, I have to work on the camos (something new for me). The colors I am using at the moment are just to quickly identify the different nations.
