As mentionned, this wreck symbol represents a structure so it is an obstacle, blocking the LoS, pg 11 in the rules book, top left corner. To destroy it, you need to inflict the number of demolition points printed within the symbol. And on pg 17, read the little para on destruction, second para top left corner.
