Applied the beta patch and some of my units are colored yellow some pink..I can't see no reason for the coloring..I'm running the second tutorial mission some tanks are yellow colored.and some infantry go pink...Can anyone shed some light on the reason for this????

The only reason I know of that a unit would change color is because of increasing lack of cohesion due to battle fatigue, being out of supply, constantly on the move, etc.

Bough the game yesterday. Can not remember whether it was the first or the second tutorial mission, but the enemy paratroopers landed on the main island. One of them began moving and turned almost entirely pink, and stayed that way, even when lying down after being destroyed. This was the only unit it happened to. I'm not sure if what you saw was the same, but mine was clearly a graphical glitch, the unit was entirely covered in vibrant pink.

But I did have other issues during that mission regarding (dis)embarking. The graphical parts of a unit, that was moving was on the main island, but its "marker" could be selected back from the small island you embark from. Another unit with the same problem had been killed on the main island and but was also still blocking the harbour position on the start island, so I could not transfer units offshore.

I saved and reloaded, and both the "units in multiple places" and pink graphic problem were solved.

Thanks for the reply Muzzleflash,,,I'll check out the condition of any units that change color and I agree I think the pink was a snafu it isn't happening now but I'm
noticing some weirdness like units that disappear or won't move..I'll get some more experience with the game/manual before I consider them a bug.Theparatroops show up in the 2nd tutorial that's where I get the colors..I deleted my saves and starting it over.....Was loosing anyway

Your problem with units not moving sounds and the pink paratrooper sound exactly like what occurred to me.

Just played a bit more. I think I got your yellow bug now (maybe they are suffering from yellow fever ). I have also experienced problems with my ships sometimes being submerged (and I am not talking about submarines).

I took some screenshots, but apparently I am not allowed to post links. (Edit: Nvm: I am unable to post links, but I was able to edit the link into this post): http://imgur.com/a/Zt1WV . The selected ship, the bottommost one, and the carrier to the left, should not be submerged since they are still afloat and fighting. The second image shows the yellow graphical glitch. I had the same occur to me in pink earlier.

Edit: I should add, I am not running the beta.

Yep that's the same thing I'm getting ..Hopefully it will get straightened out,,Haven't seen the submerged ships yet .Going to start the training scenario over and see what happens.Seeing as how no one else reported this maybe we are the only two running through the training scenarios and it just might be native to those.

I had the yellow unit and underwater ships bug too. I turned off unit highlighting in the video options. So far I have not had it happen again.

Yes, Unit Glow is what I meant. Did it work for you?

.Only got to play a bit before the computer refused to boot have to reformat...But I loaded a game I was in the middle of and it ran sweet...Thank you for the tip..Heck I'm not sure what unit glow does anyhow??

Activating unit glow should make it easier to spot/ID units, esp. over certain types of terrain. If that's what is happening to you like jsongold said you should be able to just switch it off via options.

Yep got it off and the problem seemed to go away so far

I've got the same problem. Deploying paratroopers (as in, making them jump out of their transport planes) turns most units (not all, for some reason) yellow or pink, and makes all surface ships submersibles. This bug is 100% repeatable so far. Saving right after deploying the paratroopers and loading again fixes things. A bit annoying, but there are only a few scenarios with paratroopers anyway (I've never found a good reason to send them up if they aren't in the air already).
