Installation Error

When I try to install the program which I bought today a "Feature Transfer Error" appears saying:
Component : Files2
File : E:\Data2.cab
Error : Data Error (Cyclic redundancy check)
errrm...help...please

Sorry you are having problems. Have you tried again? Where did you get the game from & is it Spartan or Gates of Troy?

I have tried 3 times each with the same error...and sorry it's Gates of Troy btw.

Can you try copying all the files into a temporary directory on your hard disk and seeing if it will install if you run it from there?

i have the same problem with gates of troy
ordered it from the slitherine site, the box version
but it wont copy from the disk onto the computer just says that data2 redundency thing?!
help plz

Hi Jaris, sorry you are having problems. Are there any marks on the disk? If you cannot copy the files to the hard drive maybe it is scratched in some way.

You might try copying the files on another computer, to check whether it is a problem with your CD drive.
