How to unload a submarine?

I've never tried unloading a Kaiten or Type A submarine before from its mother submarine until now. How can you do that? Loading is fine by the store button, but there is no unload button or move option for the baby-sub in the cargo hold.

it's not like an airplane on a carrier? i would have thought you just click on the sub, then click which hex you want it to exit?

I think I've already tried anything to get that babysub out of the womb again.
You can already see on this screenshot that transporting minisubs isn't that compatible to the flexible 6-button menu, as the minisub icon shares the surface button. It looks like the idea hasn't been fully implemented yet, as no one else hadn't missed that feature either yet.
By the way, don't get fooled by my unit naming, as I've only restored the vanilla unit files just to make sure it's not my unit mod's wrong doing maybe.

PS: Wish there would be turn limit how long submarines could dive, as it's sometimes tad annoying to finally find the enemy ones. That surface button description assumes there was maybe the idea to do that.

I got to the same point, with the same issue.
I ended up just hacking the minisubs to move at the same speed as a regular sub, in lieu of actually being able to carry them properly in a sub. It's an easy mod.

And i thought that was smart and loaded the Kaiten on my SS Type-C to move faster.. but... now its stuck and cant depart from it. Not while surfaced or while submerged. Or is the loading slot only for Recon-Planes?
