First game as human, on "easy" of course! I've colonized several ocean planets set to "agricultural" as the manual suggests. So I'm on my merry way for a bunch of years and get a notice I don't have enough food. Upon checking none of these planets have developed anything at all, the population is still at 1000, etc. Totally stagnant. No floating platforms, etc. All my other planets seem to be developing normally/automatically. So what am I missing with agricultural/ocean worlds??

Ahhh, thanks! Must say as a relative newbie to "space" games I'm having a steep learning curve. Particularly the tech tree aspects since there is SO MUCH to do I have a hard time figuring out what is really needed first.
