Crash, Lock with 238

Hello,
My Oob Pacific 238 game is crashing a lot, I must have 15 crash reports where the game freezes and locks up in the middle of AI turn, or middle of loading, very frustrating. The (my install) platform seems to be unstable with large numbers of AI units.
I am having problems with custom scenarios (locking, freezing, and crashing).
I have the dated reports if anyone wants them.
I would really like someone to make the Gremlins go away.
