Slitherine

I bought BA2 gifts through for two friends. One already had Steam installed and we've been playing without issue. My other friend refuses to install Steam for no reason that I can understand (he doesn't want Steam to be able to see what's on his PC???). Is there any way to for him to DL the s/w from Slitherine, install and register it using the key he received from Steam for my gift? Or is he SOL unless he buys a copy copy directly from Slitherine and the Steam license goes into the bit bucket?

ps, I have several overly paranoid friends ... and I never thought for a second that this guy could be one of them! <smh>

Unfortunately we can't supply non-Steam versions for Steam purchases. You might want to let him know that Steam only needs to be running when playing the game (it can be told not to start up with Windows).

Thank you. That's what I expected, but I had to ask.

We've been friends since the late 1980s and I never imagined he'd be so paranoid. <sigh>
