A ladder system, if you didn't know, is kind of like a ranking system. It ranks players from best to worst and then allows players to only challenge those of a similar skill level. If you improve you go up the ladder and vice versa. The best player being the one at the top of the ladder.

I wonder if such a thing exists?

Would anyone be interested in using something like this if it doesn't exist?

The reason I am asking is I would be near the bottom of such a ladder but would like to challenge players of a similar skill level and hopefully learn and start to rise up a bit!
