After the significant disappointment with CEAW 3.0 AI, I am wondering if there are any games for a MAC that have decent AI; or at least AI that doesn't crash the game. Suggestions?

In an era where it's all about the buck I doubt you will see many good ai's anymore.

Back in the day before graphics became popular lots of games had great ai. But, about the time Win98 hit it was all over for games with quality ai. I can hardly think of a game since 98 that has a good ai. They just don't spend the time on them like they used to.

Go back and play some of the games of the 80's and early 90's. You will be amazed at the difference. Games were challenging and fun. Games today are built around time consumption more than challenge. Look at your Total War games even from Medieval Total War One to the present Total War. The first couple had a great challenge and ai. The last ones are horrible.

So, don't expect much now or in the future for an AI. Those graphics will get better though.
