Nice to see several 'proper fun to play wargames armies' in the shape of Crusaders. A credit to their generals/owners already!

Hopefully these will be able to come out on top over all those effete skirmisher shootey armies beloved of the more serious type of gamers.

He's just trying to portray himself as an all round good egg and friendly wargamer.

We all know he's a dirty cheating lying Albanian who besmirches others driving skills and is generally a nuisance.

Dave's driving is easy to besmirch

Well... the Albanians haven't been used on English shores for over a year.... mainly because my opponents burst into tears when I bring them out.

Clearly wishing the forces of Christendom a successful weekend has touched a nerve ! I should add in best wishes to the Merovingians too as they started the ball rolling at Poitiers all those years ago

Oh and I never mentioned Dave R's driving.. infact I don't want to mention it ever again... 6 near death experiences in under an hour meant that after the fourth time 'my life flashed before my eyes', I was watching repeats

OK Guys, here's the draw for Saturday:-

15mm

1. David Morrison vs Steve Murton
2. Pete Dalby vs Lee Saunders
3. John Hogan vs Linda Fairhurst
4. Phil Jelley vs Derek Bartlett
5. David Fairhurst vs David Putt
6. Graham Carroll vs Jon Akers
7. Malcolm Gordon vs Keith Pullen
8. Dave Ruddock vs John Patrick
9. David Bannister vs Paul Johnston
10. Andy Ellis vs Graham Briggs
11. Martyn Simpson vs Richard Case
12. Chad Pillinger vs Ian Stewart

25mm

1. Steve Brown vs Dino Monticolli
2. Richard Jeffrey-Cooke vs Martyn Brawn
3. Phil Powell vs Paul Westmore
4. Peter Card vs Dave Handley

There is an odd number in FoGAM 15mm (at the moment with a possible player joining) and therefore someone may get a bye scoring 25pts each round. On the first Round we do need every one to attend as in the event of any last minute drop outs/no shows we can balance the draw on the day. As in previous years FoGAM will be the Gym in the banks of 4 tables with the number to the left indicating your table number. There is no need to register this year. Just turn up, grab a bacon or sausage sandwich, find your table and opponent and get playing - start time is 9.00am!

The gym plan is attached - the door shown is the Fire door - the entry door is at the top left!

Safe journeys and see you Saturday - let the banter commence!

Ha... well for those on the good guys' side this weekend I recommend watching Kingdom of Heaven. Not only will you see the similarities between me and Orlando Bloom, it will also put you in the mood for bashing mongols and muslims!

Great news. Ian Stewart has stepped into the breech to even up the numbers in FoGAM 15mm meaning no byes!

The draw above has been updated.
