Can't see the game

Hi,
I bought Polaris Sector on Steam recently. When I start the game, the window is off the screen-- if I hover over the icon on the taskbar, the preview looks normal, but I can't get the window to show up on the actual screen. I saw on the Steam forums that there was a suggested fix (editing Remember.cfg), but it didn't work. My resolution is 1920x1080, and I'm currently making do with IntelĀ® HD Graphics P4000 in lieu of a proper standalone GPU-- I used to have a real graphics card, but it no longer functions. If it helps, I played Galaxia: Remember Tomorrow a couple of years ago, and it worked, but I still had my GPU then. Now the old version doesn't work either.
Thanks.
EDIT: Using some Windows tricks, I was able to find a workaround that would let me drag the window onto the screen. It's a little annoying, but at least I can play for now.

So what are the windows "tricks"??? I can only see half of the settings screen and the entire game is off the screen.

Why is this and how is this fixed?

Okay so...

The first thing is to get the settings screen onto the monitor. To do this, open the settings screen, then hold shift and right-click on the game's taskbar icon. Select "move" from the menu, and then press any arrow key at least once. After pressing an arrow key, move the mouse; the window should then stick to the cursor, allowing you to drag it onto the screen.

Once you get the options menu onto the screen, use it to set the game to Windowed mode. Then start the game and repeat the steps that you used for the settings screen to drag the window onto the screen.

It's a pretty ugly workaround but at least I don't have to wait for the dev to fix things to play.

Could you also try setting your resolution with Full Screen, but not the auto-resolution. It should work as well.
