How to unistall to reinstall?

Somewhat frustrated here. Downloaded the game about 2 weeks ago, and all was well. Updated the game through the in game update feature, and it hasn't worked since. All I get is a black screen and a locked computer. I would really like to try uninstall and then reinstall the original download, but I can't seem to uninstall the game either. Going to Add/Remove Apps through Windows brings up the game, but clicking the uninstall button does nothing. It brings up the dialog box asking if I want to allow changes to my computer, and when I hit yes, the dialog box goes away and nothing happens. I have tried many times, restarted the computer and tried again, and still no luck.

Found the uninstall folder within the Slitherine/Order of Battle - Pacific directory, and it contains 2 icons, uninstall.dat and uninstall.xml. None of these files seems to do anything either.

HELP!!!!!

I am running Window 10 Home
HP envy m7 notebook
Intel Core i7-6500 @2.5ghz
16 gb ram
Nvidia GeForce 940M
Also have HP 25vx monitor - I do not use a dual monitor config.

Thanks

If you haven't uninstalled the game, delete the folder named "Settings" in your Windows documents folder:
...\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific
Start the game and check if the issue persists.

If you want to uninstall, try to do that with Windows running in safe mode.
It's possible that a 3rd party program has interfered with the installation of the last patch and have corrupted it.
For on how boot your Windows in Safe Mode, please check the guides presented on the following link:
