My scout ship flew into a wormhole, but it has no way home and ran out of fuel. I've been trying to figure out how to scrap it, but I don't see an option. I checked the Economy screen too. How do I scrap it?

If I am not wrong, there is not a option for this. However, perhaps a suicide option had been good..........but what would you think if you were part of the crew from the scout ship? I would not happy.

Now, probably you should research the wormholes (a long of additional time probably) and get your ship. Other option, never tried by me. It can be build a colonize ship and send it to go through the wormhole. Perhaps it reachs the position from the scout ship and you can create a new colony.

If you select the fleet/ship on the galaxy map then take a look up at the ship details panel in the top right.

Now, you can click and drag ships from this panel directly to merge fleets etc, but you can also click on a ship to highlight it, and then click on the skull and crossbones that appears to delete it!
