Trigger: Unit Damage Done

How does this one work? What I want to do is, the first time a US destroyer takes a Japanese torpedo and suffers at least one damage, I want a message to pop up which instructs the scenario player to have the flotilla stick to its mission and not stop to engage enemy submarines. I have a trigger set up like the one below (which is just a mock -up of the actual one that I am using) but it does not seem to work. Help, please?

Well, it looks like you may have a defect in this trigger. It works if you define only the "killer." I got it to work on that level. If, however, you try to define a "target," it does not work. See the screen prints below.

When you try to define a "target" type, the trigger does not work. I have attached the test scenario as an example. However, for my purposes, the trigger will work anyway because, going back to what I was looking for in my opening post, I want that warning and command to proceed with mission and not stop to hunt subs to pop up with the first damage caused by any Japanese sub. That will work for me. I did not need to define the target as "destroyer" which is what was preventing the trigger from working.
