I suggest that this should be re-sized so that each page prints out the same size as the pages in the book.
Then it could be tucked into the book for carrying around without the edges getting bent.


I think it would be handy if there was a half-size one as well. This would allow sharper-eyed players to get the whole thing on a single sheet of card.

Or you could print the QRS and then reduce it to whatever size you like, using a color photocopier.

Can't you just print the PDF smaller? My Acrobat seems to have a function to resize what I am printing but that may be a trick of my printer rather than Acrobat.

Depends how clever your printer is. Managed to get mine two pages to a side, double-sided. Most colour printers do this now. Although my eyes are getting old so the small print is a strain...

Resizing will also be needed for our USA friends as their paper is not A4!!

So either we need three versions or use the wonders if Acrobat!!

Adobe Acrobat does include an option to adjust the size of the document on your computer screen - e.g., a single page of the FoG QRS fits my screen at 78%. However, scaling the printed copy is going to be a function of your printer. Most good-quality printers allow you to scale the document to fit the available paper size, so the QRS prints out just fine here in the US.

Yes, but I didn't know that I would want to resize it until after I had printed it out!

Also the aspect ratio of A4 is different from the book pages.

Ideally I want something I can just print out without messing about scaling and/or rotating to fit the paper.

I suppose what I would like to see is a choice of PDF files:

1. 4 sides of A4 landscape
2. 2 sides of A4 portrait
3. 4 sides of A4 landscape but the printed area comes out the same size as the book pages and if you print both sides of the paper the two printed areas are exactly opposite each other.
4.... (as above for US paper standards)

So... you want someone else to create, format and post at least four different versions of the same document, just so you don't have to change a few settings on your computer to properly configure the existing PDF, which is provided free of charge, for your own personal printing needs? ¡Ai carumba!

I have printed out the QRS here in the US several times. The process is quick and easy, and the end result looks excellent. Give it a try, it really isn't all that difficult.
