Any tactics against chariot units in open terrain (I am playing the low complexity scenarii one by one)?
Those guys are ripping through the heavy infantry without even a single scratch.
Amazing!

Which ones?
Akragas.
Libyan chariots are cutting through the Syracusan hoplites ranks.

Any league/tournament opens to beginners?

the chariots are handicapped against spears at both impact and melee. only when the spears become disordered do chariots hold an advantage. if they're cutting through hoplites, it's just sheer luck, but that's another story.
