Bayou Wars 2008 Results
The following are the results of the first Bayou Wars FoG tournament. We played 4 rounds, and although this diverse field had a tough time getting results in Round One (only 3 of 11 first round games had a victory result gaining the additional 5 points), by the end of Round Four, 6 of the 10 games played in that round generated bonus point wins.
We would like to thank Rudy Nelson from Nelson Time Portal who provided prizes to the top 5 finishers.
We would also like to congratulate Ricky Jones not only for his win at Bayou Wars 2008, but also for becoming the 2008 winner of the HMGS Gulf South Ancients Championship. Ricky won the 2008 Gulf South Championship under DBM rules and is now the front runner for 2009 as the Gulf South Ancients Championship begins the 2009 campaign year using Field of Glory exclusively.
