On 26-27-28 th of august we will have The Worlds in Belgium , more precisely at Charleroi

Venue .: Centre Sportif de Roux – Rue Couturelles, 2 – 6044 Roux
15 minutes by car from hotel and Brussels-south airport (main RaynAir Hub ) + 25-30 minutes to the Waterloo battlefield if interested

We will have FOGAM, FODR, ADG, X-Wing, FOW ...

We do not plan to organise FOGN unless there are enough people wanting to come .

All FOG games will begin on friday afternoon and we plan 5 games on the week-end .

We have referees for FOGAM, FOGN ( if ), ADG, SAGA but if others want to organise another tournament we need a person of contact who will help us to organise, verify army lists, coordinate and so on

"The Worlds" take place in Belgium over the weekend of 26-28 August. This friendly and social international wargaming event has for many years been a great opportunity for historical gamers from across Europe and the rest of the world to get together and roll some dice, and we are pleased to support this year's hosts Belgium in their endeavours.

The 2016 Worlds will take place in the Centre Sportif de Roux, in Roux on the outskirts of Brussels, and has events for L'Art de la Guerre, FoGAM, FoGR, Bolt Action, Saga and X-Wing.

Booking is a 2-part process: first you need to register on the Tabletop Tournaments website (scroll down to the August events and click the link for the competition you want to enter on the page https://www.tabletoptournaments.net/overview) after which you then send paypal payment separately to the organisers at : worlds2016bel@gmail.com

Is anyone doing this by Eurostar?

I hate flying and after doing a Rome holiday by train Brussels should be a doddle.

If he goes my son (David) is considering Eurostar. But hasn't decided if he's going yet.

May just be more convenient for him (he's starting from Essex). The other option is if anyone is driving to Charleroi and has a spare place in the car?

Now please guys, do not be scared of what happened in Belgium....our venue and the area we have chosen is really a "no risk" zone....and it would be great if you come to just support us in these troubled times ....

You have a Ryan air Hub at charleroi Airport and a train ride from Brussels to Charleroi direct, the hotel is a 15 min taxi ride from the station.

We do not recommend you to stay in charleroi citycenter, it is a vast building area for now, big holes in the ground everywhere..... the whole city center is being rebuild and a bit derelict.....
