This may have been answered before. I have had a look in the forums, including a search but I didn't find anything.

I just bought Allied Corps, Afrika Corps and DLC '41 from steam. My original Panzer Corps was purchased direct from Slitherine. All have been successfully installed on steam and the game works perfectly; this is not an issue.

I have serial numbers for PzC and two DLCs I purchased direct and have registered them. I am trying to do the same for the Steam purchases but can't find the serials anywhere. The emails from steam don't contain them and there is no option in steam to view the serials for the DLC.

Does this mean that games / DLC purchased on steam is not playable outside Steam, including DLC. Or are the serials recoverable for the purchased steam items?

yes

what ever you buy from here also work on steam, but not the other way around, as long as the game has been released on steam that is

so convert your store bought game to steam and it will all work fine

These are the steps needed for redeeming a Steam key:

1. Register the game serial number in your Slitherine account:

2. Once you have registered the game in your account, you can redeem a Steam serial key:

As I said in my OP I already converted everything, so playing the game and DLC is no issue.

Just wanted to confirm what I already thought, which you have done.

Many thanks, and for me this is not an issue, quite happy to play my games on steam.

But any others out there that want to play the DLC outside steam should not try to take advantage of the Steam Slitherine sale.

The price has been reduced for many items in Slitherine's shop, too. Sometimes there is a slight penny difference, but in general it's the same and I quite agree, better to buy from Slitherine first - you get the Steam key on top.

It is hard to compete with the Steam prices. I just got me everything for 29 Euros minus Soviet Corps.
