Can't Launch Morning Sun

Hi,
I downloaded Morning Sun. I installed it and entered my serial key. When I launch Order of Battle and get to the screen where you choose one of three campaigns, the Morning Sun campaign says Purchase Content.
Any suggestions?

Is it only with Morning Sun, or you can't launch the game at all? Is it Steam or non-Steam?

Non- steam. I got the LAUNCH button for Japs and Americans, but it said Purchase Content when I selected Morning Sun. But I had already downloaded the new Morning Sun game. But everything seems to be okay after I deleted the two folders in Documents/My games/(both Morning SUn and Pacific

I don't even see an option to launch Morning Sun. Just OoB-P and BoB.

Install MS, run the game and select single player.
You should see the Morning Sun message.
Click OK and you should next be able to select the MS icon and the other campaigns.

Hm, I just discovered that I can't launch MS either. It asks me to purchase.
I did the MS install, but it finished in 3 nano seconds so I thought it was just unlocking the standard 2.2.5 version.
I'll reinstall MS later and check.
I had a few beta MS installations that I uninstalled, but no luck.
Edit: There's something funky going on.
I uninstalled all traces of old OOBs.
Installed the original 1.5.8.
Tried to install MS 2.2.5, but got a message that I needed to install 2.2.5 first. Shouldn't any update be comprehensive?
Installed 2.2.5
Another try at MS 2.2.5, installed in 2 nano seconds. Still only get the 'purchase' button and can't run MS.
I could edit the registry, but will wait for an official solution to this.
Edit 2: The solution that worked for me was deleting the my games ... settings folder. Now MS finally works.

I deleted the settings folder, too, but that doesn't work. And OoBP still shows version 1.9.4e, not 2.2.5.

Then it looks like you game didn't update properly. So I would not expect any of the MS 'tricks' posted here will allow MS to run.
Try running the updater from the main menu first, then the MS update.

I tried updating before installing MS, and it said I was up-to-date. How can I uninstall OoBP? I'm running Win10-64, and there isn't a listing for OoBP in the Control Panel Apps. I don't see an uninstall executable in the OoBP folder, either.

Site version. I had to delete all OoBP folders and reinstall from scratch. I'm now updating from 1.5.8 to 2.2.5. Then I'll try installing MS once more.
Update:
Thanks Zak - I found OoBP and uninstalled it, rebooted, but now I can't install the original OoBP v158 without errors - I keep getting a decompression error #2029 on resources.assets. If I ignore, the install completes, but the game won't update to v225 - it fails at the very end with a server error.
Updated update:
Problems solved. I manually downloaded the v225 update file from Matrix Games and installed, then applied MS serial.

Tell me where is the game installed (the complete path) and if you are running a 64bit Windows version.
I will also need your Mornming Sun serial, as I can't find your order. PM me the details.
I''ll try to create a registry file for you to add to your Windows registry.
