A suggestion for reworking the original PG campaign

I really liked the original PG campaign, but it was not without flaws. Especially the shortness of the of it if you only have major victories, not allowing the build-up of a good core to take Washington. So I reworked it a bit, hopefully improving it.

I don't know how difficult it would be to convert it to PC, and create the few additional scenarios, so this is only an idea for now. I won't be able to turn this into a mod. But I would like to hear your thoughts.

General philosophy: The campaign should follow the historic course of the war, but also offer a winnable path. The winning path should be longer than the losing campaigns and still include most historic scenarios. No easy ways out in the losing path either (i.e. winning Ardennes does not end the war in the West).

The campaign starts with a tutorial-like scenario in the Spanish Civil War. Similar to the tutorial in PC:AK, you bring the tutorial units over into the campaign scenarios after you finished the tutorial.

Neither England nor Russia can be defeated early in the game. There is no Early_Sealion/40 scenario at all. There are still the scenarios for Early_Moscow and Moscow_41, but even a MjV here won't defeat the Soviets. Taking Moscow in '41 only results in Stalin evacuating the city and continuing the war, and the Germans eventually having to abandon Moscow (so it can / has to be taken again in Moscow_43).

To defeat the Soviets, Moscow has to be taken in '43. If you stay on the Eastern front after Barbarossa, you will have to win MjVs at Stalingrad and Kursk to get there. Winning Early_Moscow allows to skip Sevastopol.

To win in the West, you have to get MjVs at D-Day and Anvil, to keep the Allies out of Fortress Europe. If the Soviets are still in, a following MjV at Byelorussia leads to a DRAW ending, i.e. the war ends in an armistice. If the Soviets are already defeated, a MjV in Anvil will allow Sealion45, followed by three scenarios covering the invasion of America (taken from PC:WH).

You get on the losing path in the West if you fail to archive a MjV Anvil (and since you only get to Anvil after a D-Day MjV, you have to win a major one there too). A victory at Cobra only lets you skip Market_Garden. No matter the outcome, the Ardennes offensive is followed by Ruhr (taken from Allied General) or Budapest, with the final battle either being West Germany (if Soviets were defeated before), Germany or Berlin (if you choose to go to Budapest after Ardennes).

The losing path on the East follows after not archiving a MjV in Moscow_43. A minor victory in Moscow_43 is the last chance to switch to the Western front, otherwise the campaign continues on the East only and eventually ends with Berlin.

Here's another suggestion - if the player defeats Britain in 1940 and USSR in 1941, instead of Washington '45 there could be a Washington '43 scenario?
