German turn AI really slow

New at this. Love the game. I am having to wait 20 minutes or longer for the AI or German turn to complete. Yes my laptop is slow etc. Is there a way to deselect graphics for AI? Thank You.

Maybe you could switch to 2D mode before hitting the end turn button?
You could also try the various graphic and AI settings in the options.
Laptops with built-in generic graphic cards really struggle with a 3D game like this.
During beta testing I ditched my laptop and bought a PC built for gaming.
I think this game was worth it
