Just a quick one. It says that some cavalry are javelin armed - yet nothing is listed in the missile column.

Cavalry cannot throw Javelins in game terms. They get Light Spear POA in the impact phase instead. Using their javelins at short range immediately prior to impact instead of skirmishing with them.

I think only skirmishers (and maybe chariots?) can actually throw javelins as missile weapons. This is a game design feature rather than neccessarily a reflection of what the historical counterparts did with their pointy sticks

Sadly, chariots can shoot arrows but not toss Javelins.

I didn't think javelins were that bad
