Excellent...i bought it yesterday. However, i do have a problem. I've started the Gallic Wars this morning on my way to work and noticed that i can't recruit units. I have enough population and the units are not greyed out. I've had no problem with the construction of new buildings. It's on my A1-830 (7'9 inches)...i will try on my bigger tablet tonight as well.

Hi, it's not working on my bigger tablet either (you press on recruit, hear the sound the but nothing happens).

Confirmed this issue on my large tablet as well.

Buildings work fine - Recruiting troops however, just gives a click (and a cluck from background sound) and does not do anything noticeable.

Also does not go to shaded status as with buildings while something is in Production.

Also have a problem with the game manual - which gives a system error. I opened several other PDFs with no issues so I don't think it's my reader.


On the positive side, performance / graphics and controls all seem to be top notch ... so I think overall things are looking good but with a couple of initial issues.

OK thanks for the info - it was fine bare we clicked release… no idea what happened but we'll find out.

I have a problem. I can't buy new troops. I have all the economic requirements the white men and the image of the troop is not grey, i touch the plus + button but nothing appen.
I think it's a bug, can you solve?

Thanks for the reply Iain...looking forward to continue my campaign...playing a few turns reminded me how addictive this game can be.

Any chance to see also Spartan/Gates of Troy released? Would be awesome cos it's such a brilliant game.

Please help me or refound me. I'd like to play this game, i've bought this on PC some years ago and i like to port this to my tablet.

Game requirements are stated as 2.3.3 on Google Play.



I have 4.2.2 as well.

The team have found and fixed am issues related to authenticating the game when you run. Its propagating to the server for testing and we'll push it out as soon as we know it works. Apologies for the inconvenience.
