Hi all.

Last night I had this situation:

FF
FF
FF
FFCC
...CC
...
..LLLL

F are seleucid spears in front contact with C (F charge C)
L are seleucid Lh, facing down page
C are roman Cv in front contact with F

1. In manouvre phase, after conforming and feeding, can L turn 180, then contact enemy? (L, like skirmishers, can turn 180 then move).
2. C is contacted after his feeding, so it can turn 90 to face the L contact?
3. In JAP, if F is steady, C must breaks off, being contacted on the flank?
4. Should break off be done in own and enemy JAP or only in own JAP?

No - you can only charge things in the impact phase, or as a result of persuit.

If the LH were in a narrower formation then they might be in position to turn, advance, and then wheel into overlap position.

LLLL cannot charge in the impact phase because a charge cannot include any turns, only a wheel (of up to 90 degrees). One move to consider, from the dirty-trick bag  , is for LLLL to move in the maneuver phase to block CCCC's break-off move. LLLL will then be in position to charge CCCC in the next impact phase.

Assuming that the spears remain steady, of course.

Sorry, maybe I didn't explain the situation well:
BG L DOESN'T charge at all, I'm talking about MANOUVRE phase (conforming, feeding, and overlap contacts), can L contat BG C flank in order to obtain overlap bonus for BG F (that has previous charged C and is still in melee with it)?

So:
1. In manouvre phase, after conforming and feeding, can L turn 180, then contact enemy? (L, like skirmishers, can turn 180 then move).
2. C is contacted after his feeding, so can it turn some of its base (that haven't any enemy in front contact) 90 to face the L contact?
3. In JAP, if F is steady, C must breaks off, being contacted on the flank? In wich direction?
4. Should break off be done in own and enemy JAP or only in own JAP?

Thank you.

No, you can't charge them now and you can't turn 180 and advance into side edge overlap contact with one wheel, not if the diagram is accurate. Getting behind them to prevent breaking off and inflicting a cohesion loss is the best plan unless other factors are interveninig.

To better explain to Diego, according to paragraph "Moving into contact with enemy battle groups" p 75, the position where you want to put the LH is not an overlap situation, so the contact could only happens in the impact phase (and so not this one cause a 180° turn is necessary for the LH).

Thank you Frederic.
