These were meant to be relatively cheap. They were small, merely AA and anti-sub ships, 4 torpedo tubes, 3 main guns, 1500 tons.

Aha, thanks for the info. It is a nice stop-gap destroyer whenever you really need something that floats.

I like buying stuff on sale!

Why can't it be a BB though? I never buy DDs because a 15" gun is more satisfying than a torpedo.
