Russia beat me to the moon. I then get a pop up message mentioning something about "Its gonna take NASA decades to recover from this"

The game allowed me to keep going, so I figured ok maybe the moon is just one of many goals to race them to before game over. Cool. I then launch a string of successful missions to Mars. I get a pop up message from President Nixon saying he's proud of me...etc.

As I keep playing and ending seasons, I start noticing there is no news about Russia coming up. So is it game over but your just letting play sandbox or something?

I was hoping it would be more than just one mission to compete them with.

It is a new feature in one of the last patches. If the IA arrived at the Moon, the game is over, now, if you've really lost the race to the moon, let you continue playing like a sandbox.

Thank you. Well, time to restart the tutorial. No campaign until I win the tutorial!!
