Paul,

Thank you very much for this. Scottish history is a particular interest of mine and this looks to be fantastic. You do the details proud. I am going to clear my schedule and spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying this scenario.

Thanks for your kind words. If you are interested in more Scottish battles, I have a scenario for Ancrum Moor that I did a few months ago, it is quite a fun little scenario, I just need to polish it a bit and then I will post it. I have Killiecrankie on my to do list as well, but that will take a lot longer to complete.

Would love to take a crack at Ancrum Moor!

BTW - It was a very nice touch, including the .txt files for the flags. A kind consideration for those of us who savour the small historical details

Actually, the .txt files were only there to help me design the scenario, it was getting quite complicated as I was trying to assign correct flags to as many units as possible. I was going to remove them before submitting the scenario but forgot! There are actually many more accurate flags assigned to units than the .txt files that you see in the folders.

The bulk of the work on this scenario was done many months ago and I don't use the .txt files as an aid anymore, but your comment makes me wonder if it would be a good idea to include a document to highlight what historical flags and portraits have been used in a scenario.

thanks

How do you win Flodden? I get taken to bits by the Scots every time.

I think you are referring to Odenathus' Flodden scenario. In my version, that this thread refers to, you play as the Scots.

I played Odenathus' Flodden once, and got hammered by the Scots as well!

From memory, my scenario is a bit easier. I wanted to make it really hard, but the AI does not handle the English army as well as I wanted.
