If you are engaged to front and flank do you still rout when broken? Thinking about it in real life, it would be less easy to flee if you had troops lined up along your side. If you do rout, in which direction do you flee?

You are attempting to rout away from both so you split the angle which will result in you routing at 45 degrees.
