4th mission of the barbarossa campaign and i've tried like, 6 times to figure it out and i keep getting it handed to me...makes me wonder how the germans did so well against the russian tanks...anybody have some assistance they can render??

"The Monster"?

Use the Marsh and Forest to flank the town on both sides. Don't be in too much of a hurry to take out the monster and get moving as you have forever in this scenario. Better to take out the tank's supporting infantry first and then use Marsh and forest squares and/or smoke to sneak up behind with engineers.

This is essentially infantry against infantry and your infantry is far superior, so you've got to have patience and lead with your scouts. You have a medic so even if you get ambushed a few times or lose a few you can replenish. Save the anti tank guns to take out the approaching armored cars around turn 10-12, don't even bother using them against the Monster in the beginning.

Watch out for their machine gun emplacements but it's certainly easy enough to guess where they are. If you clear the town by turn 10 you are moving along fine. keep your infantry moving but don't get greedy, always stay in cover terrain. Remember you have to exit the supply trucks by turn 18 to earn all 4 stars. hope this helps.
