I schedule a mission, I click "Assemble now" and there it is: I hear the background musik, I see the mouse pointer arrow (and I can move it) but the screen is black!?

Where are the game auto saves stored?

That's odd. Which resolution are you running the game on and which language have you selected? More info on the savefiles here.

Same error, whenever I try to assemble any mission I get a black screen. This wasn't present when I did the tutorial race to the moon last night, but when trying the soviet campaign this morning I encountered the error. It seems like the problem is even affecting my old USA save too, however. Attached is my latest autosave and output_log.txt in a zip file. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Apologies about this. Thank you for providing the savefile and the log. Unfortunately I forgot to include a series of files in 1.6.0, which affect the game when playing in American English or Spanish (from your log, I can see you're playing the game in the former). Please check out this thread and download the hotfix. We'll be providing an official update soon, though that might take a couple of weeks.

Please let me know if you're still having issues and I'll look into it.
