Noticed in every campaign that once i get a few spells the 'Learn Spell' button is just missing and just a black area where it should be when i go to learn new ones when i get a new magic point (i'm already magic level 5).

Are you only allowed to learn six spells? If so will that be changed in 2.0, or else in the final game, so you can learn them all?

The ability to learn 6 spells is intended. This presents a hard choice in how you wish to advance through the tree. You must plan carefully.

Fair enough - think that needs to be spelled out a bit more in the game (but possible i've just clicked through a tips message and missed it)
