Some factions with no fantasy elements - just medieval human

Boruvians, Hadrigel, Myrmont all seem to be just medieval humans, - nothing really fantasy about them.
The realms you mentioned represent high civilization in Sovereignty, where monsters have been largely eradicated and Man is ascendant. In the wilder, untamed realms, monsters and "fantasy" style units still may be found in the ranks. How will the future be shaped? Will a Hadrigel or Myrmont sweep across the lands, bringing order and civilization? Or will the faeries, and monsters and dragons still hold a place in the world?
