Coventry WAD

Hi, Panzer Corps IPad v1.24. Operation Sealion, scenario Coventry.

You have 5 turns to take the 2 Coventry hexes with the Vichy French.
I didn't succeed the first time and you get 20 more turns to achieve the victory with your core units.

I tried again and this time, after some saving-reloading I managed to take both hexes by turn 5. Mission accomplished....
But no, you get your core units, the same message as the first time, the Vichy French units get replenished, but seduced by the dark side you have to fight against them now?!?!
What's the point of taking Coventry with them on the first place?

Is this working as designed?

Unfortunately I cannot send a save as I confidently saved my new turn on top of it....

First of all congratulations!

The scenario is working as intended, because we were convinced that actually nobody could take Coventry with the Vichy French in 5 turns. Oh how wrong we were :)

It appears we should have anticipated that there might be a general like you out there, who could actually beat the Free French and capture Coventry.

This should be remedied for the next update (don't know when an update will get released though).

Thank you for the swift answer, there's not much merit in saving and reloading to get the battle won, I was just curious to see what would happen if you succeed.
I'll stick to the script and restart the scenario as designed and get the mission done with the core units.
