English gentlemen, this question is for you !
All the longbowmen must or not have stakes ?
in the main army, certainly !
But the longbowmen in the allied command, should they?
Or can We have stake in the allied command and none in the main or vice versa ?
Thanks for answer !

I think it depends. If you take the Wars of the Roses English. They can have an ally from the main list and are also allowed a Scottish ally. I think that the rules insist that the main list longbowmen AND the main list allied longbowmnen must all have stakes or none of them have stakes. Because the ally is a sub-set of the main list. But the Scottish ally, which can never have stakes, does not stop the main list using stakes because it is NOT a sub-set of the main list.
I cannot believe that you would consider using the 100 Years War English list, with or without stakes in this of all years: 2015 - 600 = 1415
