 Trying to send in a MP turn, and am getting "argument cannot be null"
Not seen that one before, is there any hope - or should I pull the plug

If that is our Imphal turn, then it is messed up. When I launch it I can't do anything. I can't select units or even end the turn. I have to exit to desktop. So I guess that is another one that is broken.. I kinda wish they would fix this stuff before launching any more new games or addons.
Clean up the crap that isn't working before adding more broken stuff on top of it.

Respectfully,

Larry

I guess that pretty much kills any chance I will have of being a beta tester for their new expansion for OOB.

Could you upload the output_log.txt that gets generated when you load the mp game? That would help us to find the error.
(I'll move this to the tech support forum)

Indeed it was. The game was "stuffed" when I opened it. There was no replay and some of my units were shown as moved.
Others wouldn't be selected via PgUp. I wrote a comment and turned it round.
Do you want to pick up Jungle? We discussed it during Betio.

I'd forgotten the log. Don't think I've played an other game since
I'll send it in.

.. I'll need a hint, as to where to find it (if it's still there).
Been one of those days, not thinking too well.

The output log goes in the root installation folder.
It is called output_log.txt and sits in the <game root>\Order of Battle - Pacific_Data\ folder.

For Steam, the default folder path usually is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Order of Battle Pacific\Order of Battle - Pacific_Data\

NOTE: This file gets cleared every time you restart the game. So when an error occurs, please grab the file before you restart or any useful information will be gone!

Myrddraal--If the instructions were for me what I did was I launched the broken MP scenario and exited to desktop. Then I uploaded the file to you. IF that isn't good enough then forget it. But I would appreciate it if you can remove the broken scenario from the server.

Brenmusik--our old password was stones. lets go with that.

I think the instructions were to help me. I had a look but found nothing that said "log". Was going to mention it, but am very busy at the moment. So it was put off. Jungle and my other games will have to wait until Tuesday... if my sister doesn't kill me tomorrow night

Brenmusik, it appears our Burma game has gone boobs up also. It started when I clicked on a train carrying some infantry and moved it into Rangoon. The train icon didn't move but two units appeared, one in Rangoon and one just north of it. Train is still there but unselectable.

I tried to move some of my gunboats and as soon as I seletcted the destination hex, nothing happened. Boats won't move. I clicked on end turn and nothing happened. I had to exit to desktop.

So Burma is broken too.

Developers or Erik---any ideas. These were fun scenarios while they lasted!!!

One problem was caused by purchasing the British units that were added by a mistake in one of the game updates. This would break the multiplayer-game.
I am not aware of any specific problems with the scenarios.

Yolo, I don't know if it's too late, but any time you see an error it's very useful to grab the output_log.

Myrddraal---

Here is the file. I also previously in this thread uploaed the output file for the Imphal game. So let me know if you find anything . I've done this before and never heard much back.

Erik ---

If you know what is wrong with these multiplayer games, broken British units, why don't you either remove the broken units or fix the broken units instead of putting up with these messed up scenarios? The Burma scenario can be fun and so can the Imphal because they seem balanced, except for the 10,000 British air units in each scenario.

But seriously you've been telling me for weeks about the broken units. Can they be removed or fixed??? I'll help if you give me some instructions.
