Using naval forces in Bataan scenario

Playing as Japanese in Bataan scenario(2nd Japanese scenario), where one objective is to capture Mariveles in 30 turns.
As it's at the other end of the island, I thought it would be good to launch a amphibious assault(as happened in real life!) by capturing allied port
at Eman point and launching raid from there.
But because I have no naval command points, I can't purchase support ships for my raid.
My question is, is there any way I can't use a amphibious assault in this senario ?
Many thanks for any help.

Hello, you do not need. From the harbor a simple infantry - or tank unit to invite and take on the island of Corregidor.

Thanks for the replies.
But my question was not to take out the Island of Corregidor, it was cannot I use Naval forces to invade Mariveles ?

It would be very difficult to achieve that without support ships.

You get the ability to deploy some very limited naval units at a later stage of the scenario, which is accompanied by the arrival of some supply ships.

Thanks for the replies.
The reason I asked was because I think that's how the Japanese captured Mariveles for real, and I thought it would be good to try and emulate that.

As mentioned above, you do receive support ships as reinforcements, so this is possible. In my experience it is not necessary, but you have the option as long as you can take out the coastal batteries first.
