Are we going to get a patch that adds the card decks to this game? The missing cards are one of the main reasons people have been having trouble with the die rolls. :(

as soon as it's ready the patch will come, will just have to wait, and tbh i've not had to much trouble with dice rolls, as that's how dice are, you win some, you loose a lot, that's life if you're not lucky

Yep, I'm playing 'Ironman' consistently and really haven't seen the problem with the RNG. Do I occasionally get screwed by a miss? Of course, but that's dice for you. More often then not, the expected results are what happen with a few outliers here and there...again, exactly what I would expect from a single d6 combat resolution mechanic.

As for the cards, they definitely help in the board game although I think they might change the difficulty of some of the campaign scenarios.. ;)

The RNG is fair, no doubt about it. The problem is that in the campaign good roll or bad roll can affect greatly the mission. The randomness of the game is quite its beeauty (The board game should be very fun for quick game) BUT in a camapign game, you sometimes have to relly on sheer luck to win (when you must defend the vickers for example, the computer can get a shot whenever it wants). If you one shot Otto or if Otto one shot you in one of the english scenario this is pretty over for the side who had the bad luck. Not enough unit to even the odd during one game, that the reason people complain. I think (but it is too late for the current campaign) that a campaign where you can advance even if you lose is better so the odds even out. I have yet to test the rogue campaign, but I hfear that the randomness could be frustrating (though may be less than in the other campaign).
