Basing Enquiry

I am awaiting a copy of the rulebook (no store in town had one on the shelf) and was wondering if anyone could go over the basics of FoG basing; e.g. frontage, minis per troop type, depth?
Just curious how much rebasing I may have to do from my existing DBA and DBM armies.
Thanks,

The (happy) answer is that you should have to little or no rebasing. The base sizes are deliberately the same as in DBx. The only issue that might arise is that some of your troops currently based as heavy foot might become medium foot, or vice versa, in the FoG army lists. And to deal with that the authors have specified that base depth is not of great importance, so long as the troops are fully defined as they hit the table.

Thanks, Marc, I was worried about having to cut all my 15th C. men-at-arms off of their bases.
I look forward to getting the rules this week-end and the Wargames Factory plastics when they ship!

Not that it is a problem if you don't use 40x40 [60x60] for commanders - DBM generals elements are fine.
