Playing non steam version heroes of normandie.
My mouse is standard usb type.
My problem occurs when I left click unit hold down button and drag to movement location.
Sometimes the unit is dropped before reaching my final move.
Go to left click again only to have tool tips for terrain etc. to be in way.
Seems if you double click with left button it shows info.
When moving unit There is no need for info.
Sometimes forces me to end my turn trying to remove all the pop ups.
Why cant right button be used for info and left for movement.
You should be able to left click unit with mouse move to desired point without holding down button.
Click again left button to release piece to final resting point.
Method would be similar to crane grabbing object move to point then release.

Found the solution. Go to control panel\hardware sound
Click mouse properties.
click box that says turn on click lock.
Enables you to drag without holding mouse button.
This feature works with game just fine.

Great, never heard about the option to turn on click lock. Very useful

been in windows for a while now, win2k,vista, xp etc
