hi there!

it seems that one gets the updates (latest - v1.0.3) faster through the steam client.
the auto-updater from slitherine still gives me the usual 'you already have the latest version...' text - while still sitting on v1.0.1...

how come?

Hi guys,

we're working on the updates but we had an emergency and had to rush the steam patch. The main reason this got rushed out on steam was that the steam version was bringing out site down with so much traffic from HoN. We had to patch it to reduce the server load it created to get the site back up and running. It already had a couple of changes the guys had been working on included and it was safer to include them than try and remove them. We would normally have tested it longer and released simultaneously but we had to rush it through to get out site back online. Future updates will be simultaneous. This was an unusual special case.

We're working on some other things we want to get in and plan to put the patch together today or tomorrow. Thanks for you patience.
