In the second US campaign, "Enemy's Best Friend" where you have to rescue Rex, the mission ends when you kill Hauser and you get credit for completing both objectives even if Rex is still free. While I appreciate the easier win I figure that was not intended.

Probably a good thing as getting Rex back to your lines seems an impossibility.

I checked and I understood why: when you kill Hauser, the enemy remains without orders. That's one of the ways to win.

We recently modified this scenario to make it easier, but now as a side effect you cannot complete both objectives (well... you could force Hauser to go in a target square, and kill him with an assault while you keep Rex under your arm. Technically feasible, but if you manage to do this please twitch it for the future generations...).

I'll report this to our level designer and he'll fix it.

Thanks for reporting this!

In the interest of accuracy, as the mission currently stands you get credit for both objectives being accomplished when Hauser dies.

You're right!

Winning by killing all enemy units/orders awards the 'primary objective' anyway. Which is correct.

But this won't save our level designer from having to modify this mission. :)
