I was just about to order all the expansions for Battle Academy (download only) and while performing the ordering process already wondered about what fees would be associated with it. Since I have neither PayPal nor credit card, I went for one of the bank transfer options.

Well, of course I expected some, and expected to cover both my and their transaction fees. Stil, nowhere in the process there was information about what they charged. Only after finishing, the $19 taxes for the expansions suddenly turned out to be $35 because they charge about $8 for handling and additional $8 for transaction on their part. So, to those $35 I'd have to add my normal fees. Needless to say, I don't proceed to payment for the moment.

Now, I don't mind paying fees where due, but I like to know it BEFORE finishing an order and not get surprises afterwards. I might have asked my wife for her credit card or something, if that turned out to be considerably cheaper. Is there any way to know about fees for different payment methods beforehand?

There are no fees involved when you pay with credit card or Paypal... Unless your credit card company or bank charges it.

That's fine - bank transfers are an option but not a good one. They are only there for people that have no other way to pay really. Sometimes the fees are more than the game itself.
