Moving Backwards

If my BG of HF/Cataphracts/Cav/Kn is in difficult terrain and passes a CMT to expand and move does it move an inch backwards?

As you have never actually passed a CMT, I presume that the question is theoretical...

No as this movement is clearly impossible they are removed from the table

Seems reasonable.
One has to be careful about allowing common sense to interfere with the rules.
After all if its front is out of the terrain it can intercept at 4 inches despite only having a movement rate of 1 inch.
